ZIACOM is satisfied after attending the IV Biennial COEM Congress

IV Congreso Bienal COEM

Under the theme ” Multidisciplinary Update in Dentistry”, the 4th Biennial COEM Congress was held on the 8th and 9th of February at the Kinepolis cinemas in Madrid. The event, organized by the Official School of Odontologists and Stomatologists of the 1st Region, gathered more than 2,000 professionals; dentists, stomatologists, dental hygienists and prosthetics.

This multidisciplinary event was divided into four sections: a scientific programme, round-table discussions, a 3D projection room and a 360° programme. There were also many excellent speakers, such as doctors Margherita Fontana (Conservative Dentistry), Francesca Vailati (Aesthetic Dentistry), Fernando Goldberg (Endodontics), Nuno Sousa Dias (Orthodontics), Eduardo Alcaino (Pediatric Dentistry) and Stavros Pelekanos (Periodontics and Implants).

Ziacom did not want to miss the appointment and reserved a privileged space for the occasion, in which it showed its new Galaxy and ZV2 conical connection implants and its internal connection implants Zinic, Zinic MT and its extra-short Zinic Shorty. Some other ZIACOM products that also attracted the audience were the bone substitutes Osseos BCP and Osseos TCP, as well as the resorbable membranes Zellplex and T-Gen.

As expected, digital dentistry has become one of the most popular areas. ZIACOM made different presentations of intraoral scanning on model with the CS 3600 scanner from Carestream. Also, the benefits of using guided surgery with Zinic 3D software were shown. The use of guided surgery reduces the unexpected events that may occur during surgery and provides reliable results. So that, is now a leading product for modern dentistry.

ZIACOM, which attended the COEM congress for the first time as a sponsor, appreciates its presence at the event, in which many visitors were received and it had an important reception by the professionals who attended the event. For all these reasons, the company expects to be present in the coming editions of the congress.
